MARYHILL ART SCHOOL

1. HOW DO I APPLY?

To register for a particular class at MAS, you can call the studio during office hours, or email us as maryhillartschool@me.com. Remember to include the name of the class or classes you wish to attend.

2. DO I NEED A PORTFOLIO?

To take a class or group of classes, you do not need to hand in a portfolio or send us a personal statement, you can discuss your level of ability or experience over email or phone and even register your interest in a masterclass if you are more advanced technically and have plenty of experience.

3. WHEN DO CLASSES MEET?
   
Classes meet on the weekends between 10am and 4pm with complementary lunch.  The building opens between 9am and 10am to allow students and staff to have enough to come in and set up their space before starting. 

4. HOW DO I GET THERE FROM GLASGOW CITY CENTRE?

There are many bus routes which pass through Maryhill all the way to the city centre and beyond. You can get the subway to Byres Road and take the number 8 bus to the bottom of Lochburn Road.  Alternatively, you can find our  map.

5. DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

You will be supplied with lunch and there is always a selection of drinks to choose from as well as snacks throughout the day. You will be asked to provide your own tools specific to each class but you will be informed of what you may need.

6. WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE TO THE CLASS OR FEEL ILL AND CAN'T MAKE IT?

The school office opens 9am on a school day, you can call with any problems from then on the day, or email leading up to the class starting.
