FOUNDING TUTORS
Cynthia Bowles teaches drawing, painting and artistic anatomy, using a rigorous skills-based approach supported by practical demonstrations of methods and materials. She received an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art studying with Deane Keller, Jon De Martin and Frank Porcu. Their generosity inspired her to share these skills.
Teaching at
the Glasgow School of Art, she has given workshops for the Scottish
Arts Club, the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, and the plastic
surgeons of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Recipient of the NYAA Merit
Scholarship, Posey Scholar 2002-03 she has participated in
exhibitions in New Zealand, New York and Scotland.
Martin McInally trained at St. Martins School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art McInally has exhibited in Holland, Cairo, Mauritius and Scotland and has work in various private collections in, Africa, America, Australia and across Europe.
McInally has a breadth of teaching experience including The American University in Cairo, The Mahatma Ghandi Institute in Mauritius, Strathclyde University, Edinburgh College of Art and Glasgow School of Art.
He is currently also involved in two architectural projects including a collaborative project.
Nichol
Wheatley is a Scottish Artist mainly concerned with painting. To this
end he has spent 10 years working on his project PERFECT CIRCLE ART a
fine art studio designed to work to order for designers, architects and
other clients. The purpose of this was to fund and push forward Nichol
Wheatley's studies and researches in painting. Nichol Wheatley's own
work is figurative and he cites major influences as Rembrandt and
Whistler.
